Welcome to HATCHBOX 3D Products Our engineered filament is here to help you stream your creative outlet, enabling you to see your thoughts and concepts engineered into a real and rewarding reality. The filaments are universally designed and compatible with 3D Printers using 1.75mm diameter filament, with a dimensional accuracy of +/- 0.03mm.  PLA, or Polylactic Acid, is a commonly used thermoplastic material that does not require the use of a heated print bed. Blending a mixture of plant-based materials and polymers creates HATHCHBOX 3D Printer’s PLA, making this material more earth-friendlly. Because of the lower melting temperatures and lack of warping, PLA filaments retain their color vibrancy and are a common choice for displays or small household prints. The 3D printed object will have a glossy type finish with we love it: Less warping Easy to use No heated bed required

Hatchbox, all day long This stuff is consistent. I have tried so many other brands and THAT is not what you get from them. I wanted to save a few bucks here and there, but the frustration, clogs, inconsistent diameters, varying heat needs, color match issues – everything is fixed by sticking with the best. I have dozens of rolls of this stuff, you just can’t go wrong. Hope that helps.

Be prepared for tangled reels. I think I might end up avoiding hatchbox from here on out, even though they seem like the best quality of the lower priced filaments.I originally bought a black reel and had an issue with overlapping filament. I figured it was a bit of a fluke, and ended up purchasing a different color for some prints I intended to do.It wasn’t a fluke. Their quality control on reeling these is just deplorable. I’ve been constantly fighting having to manually try and untangle this as…

Still the “Go To” PLA for me I still turn to Hatchbox when I want good results and don’t have time to tweak settings and calibration. This pink color has become my go-to filament for drafting pretty much anything because it’s nearly fool-proof, very eye-catching and readily available (other colors sell out much more often).
