Great printer for someone just starting out I have wanted a 3d printer for years now but the quality you got in cheap printers held me back from taking the plunge. I didn’t want to deal with putting one together like the Ender 3 either. This was super easy to get up and running initially with the demo files. How easy it is for you is probably going to depend on how technically inclined you are and how much you like to fiddle with things. This printed the demo files beautifully and the ones I checked were done at 0.2 layer…

A good entry level 3d printer and a lot of fun! This is a relabel of a Wanhao printer. A hint: Very first thing to do is to update to firmware 2.0.1 or newer. Get the latest Cura and WiiBuilder too. My printer came with 1.5 and things like auto align didn’t really work well. Also, the manuals are basically “plug in for printer and print something” No hand holding or advice included. In my case I tried printing one of the samples objects and the print failed about 2/3 of the way through. Second try failed at exactly the same point. After…

I read instruction manual, looked up YouTube video (yup I’m one of those) and I was ready to print. Monoprice included some samples and at my surprise, first print was success! Part of credit goes to manual but other part to YouTube video I was…
